Licences, insurance and expiry warnings
How Booking Circle keeps you compliant, and what the coloured badges mean.
Every driver and vehicle has licence and insurance dates. Booking Circle uses them in two ways.
1. They can't be booked when out of date
A driver or vehicle whose licence or insurance has expired, or will have expired by the pickup, is greyed out with the reason and can't be assigned. Renew the date on their record and they come straight back.
2. You're warned in good time
The Needs attention box on the Dashboard lists anything expired or within 30 days of expiring. You'll also see badges on the Drivers and Vehicles screens:
- Valid until… shown quietly: all fine.
- Expires… in gold: within 30 days. Time to renew.
- Expired in red: can't be assigned.
Hiding a warning you're already dealing with
Waiting for a renewal certificate? Press Hide for now beside the warning. It's hidden until that date changes, then comes back by itself if the new date is also near. Nothing to undo or remember.
