If you're the only driver
One switch that gives every booking to you, so there is nothing to pick or assign.
If you run the business on your own, you drive every job and never pass work to anyone else. Picking a driver on every booking is then just extra work. I'm the only driver takes it away.
What it does
- Every booking is given to you as the driver, automatically.
- The Driver box on a booking, and the Assign driver buttons on the Bookings list and Dashboard, go away.
- With one vehicle, it is filled in for you too.
- With two vehicles (a 7-seater and a saloon, say), you still choose the vehicle on each booking. It starts on your usual one.
Switch it on
- Go to Settings and find I'm the only driver.
- Turn the switch On.
Switch it off again at any time and the Driver box comes back. You can't add another driver while it is on: switch it off first.
Add a job to your own calendar
On a booking, press Add to calendar under your name. It saves the booking and emails you the job with a calendar invite you can open in your own calendar app. It goes to the email address you sign in with, unless you have saved a different one on your driver record. Nothing is emailed to your passenger.
